All of our tests comply with CE(European Conformity). Every single pouch you receive is printed with details such as expiration date, CE marked, and the name of the test which is "SURELAB MIDSTREAM hCG" and the manufacturer's name. These tests are 100% sensitive and more than 99% accurate as proven by the laboratory results.
How does an "Ultra Early Midstream Pregnancy Test" work?
The test can detect hCG hormone which starts to be secreted by the start of pregnancy in a very successful way. With its having 10mIU /ml sensitivity it has no competitor in the market. The test device has its own unique design. The Lotus flower represents a birth symbol, and stripes on the device represent sperms and the reading window just shows the eye of newborn life. Many users all over the World just keep this device for the first photo of a new baby.
hCG hormone is produced in the placenta after the embryo attaches to the uterine lining. This hormone starts to increase in the first few days following implantation and can be detected by an "Ultra Early Midstream Pregnancy Test" only up to 5 days after sexual intercourse. The other "Pregnancy Home Tests" can detect 7-10 days after conception.
The further into the pregnancy you are, the higher levels of hCG hormone are found in your urine.
How to use the test?
Even if it is not necessary we recommend the test to be used with the first-morning urine. The first morning urine contains the highest level of hCG hormone and is the best time to do the test. If you already missed the first urine please do not be concerned still you are able to use the test.
How do I interpret the test result?
The presence of a single line in the “C” in the result window ONLY, indicates a NEGATIVE result.
The presence of a line in the “C” result window AND the “T” result window, indicates a POSITIVE result.
If there are no lines on the result window after the 5 minutes, the result is invalid. The test must be re-done with a new test kit.
How long should I wait to read the results?
You are able to read the results in 5 minutes.
If it is POSITIVE, what should I do?
In any condition, if it is POSITIVE or NEGATIVE and you suspect you are pregnant please consult with your doctor. If POSITIVE you need to confirm with a second test a few days later. Or if it is too early to do the test you may wait a few days more and repeat the test. Don't forget the further into the pregnancy you are, the higher levels of hCG hormone are found in your urine.
What does 10mlU mean?
That means your pregnancy test is more sensitive than 20mlU, 25mlU,30mlU, 40mlU. Most of the tests measure at a sensitivity level of 25-40mlU. But if you prefer to learn earlier "Ultra Early Midstream Pregnancy Test" is the best option for you.
Does breastfeeding or drinking alcohol affect the test?
What if your result line's color is very light and faint?
Due to low hCG levels in the early stages of the pregnancy, the result lines may be lighter. The presence of a light line in the area denoted by “T” must be treated as a positive result.
Any test line that is visible to the naked eye (at the testing time frame) is considered to be a positive test result.
My test line became positive after the testing time frame, is that a positive?
A positive test result will not change after the testing time frame. However, a negative test result should not be read after 30 minutes.
How is this test different from the test strip or cassette format?
The difference between these tests is how you use them. For the test strip format, you will collect a urine sample and then dip the test into that collected sample. For the midstream format, you will hold the test midstream while urinating. It is easier and practical to use.
Good to know!
A number of conditions other than pregnancy including trophoblastic disease and certain non-trophoblastic neoplasms cause elevated levels of hCG. These diagnoses should be considered if appropriate to the clinical evidence.
