Description : Hydrocolloid Dressing of E&E Medical Supplies, consists of a semi-permeable polyurethane film or PU foam film coated with hydrocolloid containing carboxy-methylcellulose(CMC) as the principal absorbent and gel-forming agent.These self-adhesive plasters are permeable to water vapour / moist but impermeable to exudate and microorganisms with waterproof features. This creates an ideal barrier for good bacteria for sore, wound and ulcers. In the presence of exudate, the CMC absorbs liquid and swells to form a cohesive gel that does not tend to disintegrate or leave residues in the wound bed. Additionally, polyurethane / CMC texture provides physical protection small, medium and large sores
